Storage and Shelf Life

  • Do your products freeze well?

Yes, the bread freezes great! In fact, frozen it lasts up to 6 months! However, it does become fragile when completely thawed. So, if you freeze it, and then thaw the entire loaf at once, be gentle as you place the thawed slices into the toaster. We recommend keeping it in the freezer and toastin...
  • How should I store your products?

The preferred method of storing opened loaves is refrigeration, if you can consume it within 6 weeks. Otherwise, you will want to freeze the loaves and use one slice at a time from frozen as needed.
  • What is the shelf life of your products?

The bread will last for 120 days on the counter when unopened, for 6 weeks in the fridge (our suggested method of storage) or 6 months in the freezer. This provides you with ample time to consume your loaves.
